This brings tears to my eyes. While all of your photographs are wonderful, I find that this one cries out the most. I think what really gets me is how depressingly accepting he looks.

I don't want you to get your hopes up or anything, but I suggested this for a DD. I love this picture so much. I'm not a photography buff by any means, so I couldn't talk about technical issues of lighting or framing or whatever. What I can say is that the expression on this kid's face is . . . it's just beautiful. So much sorrow. So much strength. Easily one of my new favorite favorites.
